Deuteronomy 12:31-32

The Voice

³¹ Don’t worship the Eternal your God the way those nations worshiped their gods! They did every horrible thing He hates. They even burned up their sons and daughters as sacrifices to those gods. ³² Be very careful to do everything I’m commanding you. Don’t add anything to your worship, and don’t take anything away from it.
